My friend’s cousin owns the most AMAZING house on the summit of Snowdon in Wales (UK). We decided to spend Monday to Friday here for my friend’s birthday. It was the perfect week for relaxing, laughing, drinking and jacuzzi bathing.
The house is located in Caernarfon and consists of 5 bedrooms. The downstairs is open plan with the living room, dinning room and kitchen.
In the master bedroom there is a bed with a TV that comes out at the end and a fantastic jacuzzi bath. There is also a log burning hot tub outside.
On one night it blew a storm and we literally spent hours running back and forth trying to warm the water up in the hot tub. It’s not fun running through a welsh hurricane in a bikini!
There is a farm on the grounds and man made water pools. Every morning we would take our food waste and go feed the pigs. There’s also random chickens that walk around and we went on a lovely walk followed by two calves.
On the trip I managed to tick something off my bucket list and I drove a tractor. My friend took a video and you could just hear my other friend shouting “turn the wheel!!!”. My tractor driving skills weren’t great.
We hadn’t planned much for our break away. I think the only time we decided to leave was to take a trip to the nearby beach. It was January when we visited, it was very cold and windy.
The majority of our trip was spent putting the sound system on and playing drinking games.
If you are looking for a place with good views and long walks…this is the place for you. The house is fantastic and you feel like a millionaire.
