The trip started with a flight from Manchester Airport and a couple of hours in the 1903 Lounge. What a great way to start a holiday. The lounge is all inclusive…food and drinks on tap!
We flew to Toulouse Airport in France and rented a car to drive us to the beautiful Maison De Cas. Maison De Cas is based in a small hamlet 4km from Caylus and 6km from St Antonin Noble Val in the Midi-Pyrenees.

Maison De Cas is owned by a family friend of ours and it’s a beautiful rustic French villa which consists of 4 bedrooms and a swimming pool. It sleeps 8 people and has a large covered outdoor area…great for eating and drinking.
The house has a rustic feel to it, with its open stone walls and wooden stairs. In addition, the upstairs is open plan with a pool table.
The grounds also host a couple of out buildings. These were previously owned by a French man called Raymond who used to come out everyday to fill up his bucket of water, as he didn’t have any running water inside.
St Antonin Noble Val is a beautiful French village with shops, restaurants, markets and even outdoor pursuits. We loved to go for a typically French breakfast and visit the market on a Sunday.
If your into your outdoor adventures why not try kayaking on the Aveyron River? Or cycling up the hills?
There is a local supermarket in St Antonin Noble Val where you can stock up on your groceries.
On one day we drove to a near by village called Penne. Penne is very small and based on top of a hill. There isn’t much there but it has the most amazing views.
This part of France is very rural. It’s great to have a drive out and visit some of the nearby villages. We also spent a day in Toulouse and drove through Montauban.
We spent a week in Maison De Cas and it was brilliant. If your looking for a relaxing week away from everything. This is the place for you. If you like the countryside and rural adventures I definitely recommend visiting St Antonin Noble Val.
Until next time St Antonin Noble Val…
